Losing money is easy.
Understanding why is harder. My background is in computer science and economics. I write about trading, quantitative finance, markets, machine learning, factor investing, and portfolio optimization. This blog is where I turn ideas into frameworks and insights.

Philosophy
This is not a blog about random backtests, shallow price predictions, or pretending a complicated model is the same as real understanding. I care more about how markets actually work than about dressing weak ideas in technical language.
The focus here is on building real foundations: market structure, quantitative methods, factor investing, portfolio construction, machine learning, and the assumptions that sit underneath them. Sometimes that means going back to basics, because most people try to skip them and pay for it later.
The goal is not to look smart. The goal is to think clearly, avoid nonsense, and build knowledge that holds up outside the spreadsheet.
